Thanks for spending some time on my site and for checking out my work!
Just a little about me: by profession I am an English professor and literary critic specializing in late-19th and 20th-century British literature, but for years I also moonlighted as a videographer and portrait photographer, which is where I learned to use a camera. These days my love for photography most often finds expression as part of my lifelong love of travel, which is the focus of the work on this site.
When I am not indulging my wanderlust, I live with my wife Mary and our two daughters in East Tennessee, where I currently serve as chair of the Department of Literature and Language at East Tennessee State University.
